Internet Payment System, Skrill Officially Adds Ripple (XRP) to Their Platform

Internet payment system, Skrill recently announced that they have added XRP to their list of supported cryptocurrencies. As reported by the company, they made the decision of adding XRP based on list of requests from the holders of the second largest cryptocurrency in the market.   

Company made the original announcement on their official Twitter page on November 27. The message reads: “we’re very excited to announce XRP has been added to the list of cryptocurrencies you can buy and sell with Skrill. Thank you to everyone who has asked about Ripple. It’s Here!” Afterwards, the message also invited the users to sign up on their platform by providing the direct link.   

The company had earlier confirmed that they already offer trading in four major cryptocurrencies in the market on their platform. Currently the available digital currencies on the platform include: Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH) and Litecoin (LTC). And hence, the recent addition of XRP makes it the fifth officially listed cryptocurrency on Skrill.   

Lorenzo Pellegrino, the CEO, and NETELLER earlier shared his official insights on the field of cryptocurrencies and trading. “The world of cryptocurrency trading is exciting and dynamic. And hence our digital wallet service very much lends itself to this environment. I’m confident that the ability to trade in cryptocurrencies quickly and easily through Skrill will appeal to consumers both now and in the future”, earlier stated Pellegrino. He went on commenting: “we know many people want to experiment with cryptocurrency trading but don’t know where to start and we’ve made the entire process very straightforward”.
