Tron CEO Presents $1 Million Worth Support Program for Developers

Founder and CEO of Tron, Justin Sun today, on November 16, announced about support program for developers, who wish to realize their DApp and blockchain based projects. The program is reportedly worth in total of $1 million.

Sun’s original message reads: “Tron is unveiling a $1 million USD program to support developers realizing their dream DApp and blockchain innovation. I will be a judge and reward the winning projects during noTROn, our first international summit in San Francisco on January 18, 2019!”

The official information on the program page summarizes the program details and provides details on the rules and timetable. “Tron Accelerator is a $1 million USD program aiming to empower developers and foster innovation within the blockchain industry. Developer teams are invited to submit their decentralized application project, build on the TRON protocol, and compete for one of the most ambitious Blockchain hackathons ever hosted”, informs the message.

Above that, the info also confirms that overall $1 million total award will hence be divided among 56 wining projects. As a result, the wining projects will have an opportunity for investment and other perks. Additionally, the authors of the winning projects will also receive free travel and accommodation during niTROn.

And, moreover, the company also listed the 8 wining categories which are:

In addition, the official message also confirmed that the judge list will include leading figures. They hence will be from different industries, such as Blockchain, VC, Media and others, and Justin Sun, as promised, will be among the judges.

The Rules

The details hence summarize general terms and profiles of the applicants and it confirmed that all applicants must base their projects on the Tron protocol. The deadline for applications is January 4th, 2019, Midnight (PST).

niTROn is the first and one of the most promising events that Tron Foundation is going to host. The event will take place in January next year.
