Justin Sun, the CEO and co-founder of Tron recently confirmed that major cryptocurrency trading platform, BitBay will be officially listing Tron’s TRX. BitBay is a major trading platform which allows the exchange of top cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Lisk (LSK).
Sun shared the official information on his Twitter page stating: “TRX will be listed on BitBay, TRONICS can deposit, withdraw and trade with TRX/ BTC, TRX/ EUR, TRX/ USD TRX/ PIN at 21:00, September 19, 2018 (SGT)”. According to the source hence, the trading platform now offers the following pairs with TRX: Bitcoin (BTC) and fiat currencies of Euro (EUR), U.S. Dollar (USD) and Polish Zloty (PLN).
BitBay is a major exchange platform which was founded back in 2014, in Poland. Currently the exchanger is considered to be the third largest cryptocurrency exchange platform in Europe. The company reportedly possesses more than one million users from all over the world and employs a staff of over one hundred specialists. In addition, the exchanger has a market share of more than 70% in Poland.
According to the official information shared by the company, BitBay currently aims “to create an exchange platform which is nowhere available in the Polish market, especially for buying and selling BTC and LTC”.
Tron earlier also announced that TRX is now supported by SatoWallet and the exchange platform, CoinSwitch. Recent positive developments for the cryptocurrency are mostly targeted towards making the token available on more in number and in reach cryptocurrency platforms. According to the company, new listings and support by leading crypto platforms for TRX keep growing as Tron works closely with exchangers to establish and maintain good partnerships.
The recent cooperation with ButBay is an important one for the company, as TRX will become available to the major number of users of the platform.
