Decentralized cryptocurrency and blockchain of Monero (XMR) officially announced the release of Graphical User Interface (GUI) v0.12.3.0, yesterday, on July 27. According to the official announcement, the new version is named “Lithium Luna” which provides full support for Ledger wallet.
Ledger Nano S is a hardware wallet that supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other altcoins. It gives the opportunity to store cryptographic assets and allows secure digital payments for the users.
The previous of GUI version such as i.e. v0.12.2.0, as known, supported the Ledger due to which the users were able to store XMR on their personal wallet. As informed by the company, in Monero’s next GUI v0.12.3.0 version, the support for Ledger will be available as well. In addition, a new privacy feature was also introduced with the Ledger support for Monero.
The company also informed about including verification of binary files which are signed in Fluffypony’s GPG Key and are available for Windows, Mac and Linux. Users are requested to verify these binaries to make sure they are using official Monero binary before they are able to use Monero Software.

According to the announcement, the new release of GUI v0.12.3.0 included a summary of recent updates. “The time-out-issue was fixed which indicated that the server did not receive a complete request from the client within its allotted timeout period. It had an inclusion of a new language. The new release fixed many bugs like: the freezing issue on the settings page and the User Interface (UI) or User Experience (UX) bug which allowed the users to select the Testnet and Stagenet”, concluded the announcement.
