Tron Founder Announces his Candidacy to Become Super Representative

Founder and CEO of Tron, Justin Sun recently announced about becoming an official candidate for Super Representative elections on the Tron network and its community. Sun tweeted about this update on his official page with the message stating: “I am excited to run for Tron Super Representative alongside excellent candidates, in the hands of our community. Voting is a crucial part of the Tron ecosystem and embodies our mission of decentralization and democracy. Every vote counts!”

In addition, Sun also informed his followers and the community that his personal Twitter page will hence be used as the main site for his Super Representative campaign. He also provided the official address for his campaign in the message.

“I hope that my candidacy will make all the TRX holders, supporters and believers see the significance embedded in voting. I hope it will enable all of us to contribute to the establishment of a truly democratic, decentralized Tron community. Voting allows us to carry on and promote “the popular sovereignty and the natural rights” of the token”, continued Sun.

He also confirmed that the initiative to run his candidacy for the elections has been a result of solely personal action while the measurable amount of 33.2 billion TRX tokens, which as of now belong to the Tron Foundation, will officially remain out of the elections.

Currently the foundation has over 60 SR candidates with the future ones being reportedly determined to go through the already set selection process.

“I sincerely hope that members of the community could vote for me. As one of the firmest believer of Tron, I am excited to witness more miracles coming along our way, and I hope everyone in the community can execute their rights to vote for the SR candidates”, concluded Sun.
