First ever official Litecoin (LTC) event, Litecoin Summit 2018 was announced to take place in South San Francisco Conference Center on September 14-15, 2018. The event is organized by the Litecoin Foundation with the main objective of bringing together all the users, developers as well as any and individuals interested in Litecoin.
As announced and suggested by the major event, the main target of event can include those businesses and merchants that accept LTC as an official payment method. In addition, cryptocurrency exchangers and organizations in the community that use LTC have been encouraged to participate in the Summit as exhibitors.
The companies that apply to become exhibitors during the event will be provided an individual platform by the Summit to launch and display their products or to make brand announcements to the thousands of attendees that the platform seeks to bring together. There will also be a special section and platform developed by the organizers, which will give the exhibitors and attendees the opportunity to network, connect, and interact with other LTC users, developers, and industry leaders.
The announcement also informed about another key purpose of the Summit which is to introduce new products to the cryptocurrency market that will assist in the adoption of cryptocurrencies in day-to-day transaction.
Currently details about the speakers of the event are not yet available however it is expected that the speaker list will include important leaders of the industry including the creator of Litecoin Charlie Lee. Lee’s participation and speech is at the top of the list of the notable speakers.
Litecoin, which is currently ranked as the fifth largest cryptocurrency in terms of its market cap and the trading transactions, aims at developing the cryptocurrency in a way that it benefits the society via blockchain based technology.
