Tron Announces Bug Bounty Program with $100K Top Reward

Tron MainNet launch has been one of the most awaited events in the crypto market recently. After the announcement was made on the successful launch of the platform by the company leaders as promised on time the network has been reported to be smooth throughout the journey.

Currently the new network is available for testing for the community developers before the final version will be launched late June. As a part of the testing period a special Bug bounty program was announced by the company. The first announcement about the project was made by the founder and CEO of Tron, Justin Sun who twitted about the bounty just several hours after the official launch of the test net. According to the announcement, any bug or error that may be detected in the new network and reported accordingly will be awarded up to $100K.

Calling all developers! Tron main net is live on Github and we’re offering up to $100K in Bug Bounty rewards. Bring your A game”, stated Sun in his announcement.

For now there have not been any errors noticed anywhere on the new network and in order to reflect their confidence in the work, Tron created the Bug Bounty program. “We take the security of Tron MainNet very seriously. If you have made an important discovery of potential bugs, please contact us and join the Tron Bug Bounty Program”, stated Sun in one of his later tweets.

As of now, anybody from the developer’s community or in general any user or expert who can report or spot a glitch in Tron MainNet has the opportunity to become the owner of the promised huge amount of reward.

The Bug Bounty Program is reported to help the community improvise and fix any issues that may be found in the Net. This is an important step from the founder and Tron team which aims at ensuring smooth journey of the network in the future as well.
