Earlier today the founder and CEO of Tron, Justin Sun tweeted on his official page about two new participants joining the run in Tron Super Representative elections which will take place next month.
First of the announced participants is 34rth which is a Tron volunteer community from Europe. As reported, this community has held Tron SR roadshows spontaneously in the large European cities such as Munich, London and Amsterdam, and three nodes have been tested including two complete nodes and one super node.
The second participant was officially announced to be Free Space which is located in Reno, NV, USA. The announcement also informed that their roots started over 20 years ago in LAN/ WAN networking. It was confirmed that Free Space will run node reliably with proper redundancy at a very fair price. They are currently close to being only 20 miles away from the most redundant and secure hosting facility that was ever built in the world. This is a green facility which requires low electrical costs (as estimated- the costs are less than 5 cents per kWh) as well as insures 35% savings on internet bandwidth. The facility also pays some of the lowest taxes in the world. All of these advantages make the facility highly attractive and effective for the company, concluded the announcement.
As the cryptocurrency fans may remember that back on April 12, Sun published his already the well-known “Letter to the TRON Community: On Super Representative Elections”. According to the information that was passes in the letter, during the first Super Representatives Election which is scheduled to take place on June 26, 2018, 27 SRs will be elected. As a result, this will allow building a foundation for a self-governed community with a general election.
