You Can Now Trade Gold, Silver, Platinum and Palladium With Ripple

BPG Group is ready to launch a new Ripple gateway called “eMetals”, according to their post appeared on Facebook and Twitter.

Use the #Ripple network to buy, spend and trade #Gold, #Silver, #Platinum, #Palladium and #Rhodium (XAU, XAG, XPT, XPD and XRH).

The eMetals platform is an alternative way to invest and exchange physical metals. It aims to provide the investment performance of standard metals markets with the transparency and security offered by an exchange.

EMetals’ blockchain technology enables the transformation of physical gold, silver, platinum, palladium and rhodium into a fluid, modern digital asset. eMetals offers the flexibility to buy and sell gold instantly, securely and globally.

XAU is gold on Ripple Consensus Ledger. It is a digital representation of gold secured in the BPG or Malca Amit vault.

XAG / XPT / XPD is silver / platinum / palladium on Ripple Consensus Ledger. This is a digital representation of silver / platinum / palladium secured in the Istanbul Gold Exchange vault.

Ripple transforms physical metals into a modern digital resource by adding accessibility, speed, security, transparency and trust.

BPG is a licensed gold bars retailer, a boutique precious metal refinery and a registered investment manager. BPG specializes in the active management of raw materials with global exposure to precious metals. BPG operates one of the safest metals deposits in Europe.

”As a precious metal refinery we see big potential in Ripple Consensus Ledger and the conversion of rights to metals into digital tokens (IOU) on Ripple Network. We decided to offer investors an alternative way to invest in and trade physical metals by providing the performance of the  AURUM  (‘AURUM’ is an electronic clearing system operated by the LPMCL.) with the transparency of an exchange-traded asset. “
