The goal of the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) is to promote global financial access, literacy and inclusion.
SDF accomplishes this by expanding global access to low-cost financial services through the development and maintenance of technologies and partnerships. The Stellar roadmap will be discussed at Raleigh Meetup in march 31.
This event is a meeting for those interested in cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, financial technology or the Stellar Development Foundation. Furthermore, the director of Stellar’s partnerships, Lisa Nestor, will be speaking at the event.
This session is mainly aimed at business professionals. Lisa will focus on the potential of frictionless cross-border payments and will also provide an overview of the foundation, discussing the roadmap and sharing new ways to get involved in the community. Prior knowledge of the cryptocurrency is not required. The tickets only cost around 5 dollars.
According to the official page, everyone who attends will recieve free XLM, Stellar’s native currency. (Facebook account required).
This session is for business professionals and will be held in the Devolve room at HQ Raleigh.
