Exclusive: Next Week at Davos, Treasury Secretary and BlackRock CEO Will Discuss Cryptocurrencies and Ripple is a Main Topic

From the unbridled growth of cryptocurrencies to the potential decline of the dollar as the world’s reserve currency, the international financial system is undergoing a deep transformation. How should business leaders and policy-makers prepare for the remaking of global finance?

The 48th World Economic Forum (WEF) 48th Annual Meeting will take place on 23-26 January 2018 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, under the theme: Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World.

According to a WEF release, Paolo Gentiloni, Italy’s prime minister, Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission, Emmanuel Macron, French president, Theresa May, United Kingdom prime minister, and Justin Trudeau, Canadian prime minister, Germany’s Merkel and President Donald Trump are expected to attend.

Panel dedicated to cryptocurrencies include Christine Lagarde,Paul Achleitner,Laurence D. Fink,Philip Hammond,Steven Mnuchin,Jin Keyu,Geoff Cutmore.

According to a source that will attend Davos, many partecipants that registered to follow panels related to cryptocurrencies discussed tonight (local-time) in a private meeting two different cryptocurrencies: Ripple and Stellar Lumens.

About Ripple, a person that attended the pre-meeting of Davos said that a leading US bank asked Ripple executives to test its products for a test to start in the next coming months.
